I am responsible for making sure that the inserts are scheduled properly, and are here in a timely manner. I also am responsible for doing reports and taking over when the Preprint Coordinator isn't available. I put in the inserts in the system so the packing department can put them in the correct paper and zones that they are to go in. I also have to put the papers in bundles sizes and mail dimensions for the post office. I also give truck drivers directions to our facility so they can deliver the inserts. I am responsible for the inserts for 5 daily newspapers and 5 weekly publications. I put inserts in folders so production knows what inserts to put in the newspapers.

I insert the inserts into the newspapers. I put labels on papers to be mail to customers who are in different states that want to receive the newspaper through the mail. I put them in tubs and tag them for the post office. I jog the inserts and feed them through a SLS machine to go into the papers. I have also worked in the warehouse and received the inserts, and then they are sent to the Preprint Coordinator for logging.
