Summary: I have a wealth of experience working in the field using sensitive equipment to collect various types of environmental data. My experiences operating boats all over the Gulf of Mexico have given me confidence to be self-sufficient in dangerous working conditions. The hydrographic survey company I worked with allowed me to design and build new survey techniques in order to capture data in complex areas like the surf zone on a beach. Teaching in the classroom for 7 years has given me the patience in order to develop a program with students that did not want to be there. I learned how to get the best out of people, even when they did not know how to do their best.
