DR. ANDREW MURPHY DAVIS

****A **th Ave S Seattle, WA 98144

864-***-**** ********@*****.***

Summary

Senior AI/ML engineer with 18 years experience designing and deploying software for analysis of large data sets across a wide swathe of domains and sources. Experienced with end-to-end experimental design, leading projects, developing solutions, and providing insights that drive growth and efficiency. Background in machine learning, applied statistics, and big data. Able to translate data across industries and functional areas. Notable achievements include co-developing LLM platforms and mentoring interns to drive innovation. Looking to leverage expertise in AI solutions to meet the demands and challenges of forward- thinking organizations.

Senior Data Scientist Seagen, then Pfizer (Bothell, WA) 2022-2025

• Created and deployed AI/ML solutions that accelerated all stages of antibody drug development. Proposed and implemented image preprocessing for immunohistochemistry applications, spearheaded efforts at large- scale historical data fortification, and co-developed LLM platforms for antibody discovery and literature search.

• Proposed, led, and supervised summer intern program, which developed novel LLM applications within our federated platform.

Data Scientist, then Director of AI Operations Care Daily* (Kirkland, WA) 2017-2022

• Proposed, developed and implemented custom, scalable white-label AI solutions for B2B customers in energy, security, and eldercare domains, requiring the development of explicative features from sparse observations across sets of disparate sensors. Processes were fully automated, operated in real time, and were trained on individual users’ data, requiring exceptional robustness. Problems included binary classification, determining sequence likelihood, signal processing, and outlier/novelty detection.

(*Previously PeoplePower LLC)

Postdoctoral Researcher University of Washington (Seattle, WA) 2014-2017

• Developed metrics for Gulf Stream intercomparison and variability characterization within 30 IPCC global climate models that used a searching/image recognition mechanism to ascertain Gulf Stream position non- locally, making them robust across highly variable dynamical models. Graduate Student / Teaching Assistant Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA) 2008-2014

• Developed algorithms for image recognition in high-resolution hindcasted ocean surface variables. Designed, wrote, and implemented a Linear Inverse Model of the tropical and North Pacific ocean and atmosphere system, allowing for forecasting/hindcasting and for effective null hypotheses in dynamical models.

• Assistant-taught EAS 6490: Advanced Environmental Data Analysis, a graduate statistics/programming course with multidisciplinary applications.
