What I'm looking for is the next natural step in the direction of a career in my current degreed field. Either an apprentice-ship, intern-ship if paid, or unpaid. The equivalent entry level position in the HVAC installation repair and retro-fit industry. Or even adjacent fields such as solar installation energy savings. I have taken basic classes on energy savings and equations like hot or cold weather sealing of a house. But diagnosing common problems I am well versed in from the cases in our textbooks etc. Authorized to work in the US for any employer

Go Staff-Sorrento, CA

I have done some demolition with go staff. Some gofer work carrying demolition debri. I have also been doing quite a bit of construction site clean up. Same businesses that I applied for on Indeed seem to have no problems with hiring that same person to work for probably the same money out of pocket but through a temp agency. I Would like to find out how that's working out like that. Student

For the last 3 years or so I have been in school full-time. Which means 8 hours a day. Either in class or doing work. I completed the entire program in that 3-year time, but there's a lot to it. In fact a lot of people do take four years to do it, because they do have a job. Because I didn't have a job at that time, I did it in three. Both parts of the AA degree were done with high honors and on the the deans list. Though I never signed up for the extra curricular work for the honors diploma, I got it based on my grades. Which I had no idea was even possible. When I returned to the school with a trafe and plan in mind the only grades I received were all A's and B's. 3.64 at the end because of some G.E. classes like statistics and philosophy. The HVAC classes I aced them all or nearly all. I got about 12 or 13 in a row my first year back. Thats 13 A's. I still have access to the transcript. Trash abatement crew

This temp service got me work doing quite a few different things. Ranging from sorting and stacking pallets of magazines, or mucking stalls at the track. You name it, other than permanent jobs they had it all. Including events, that they for whatever reason didn't have enough people to do some sort of catering at the convention center or the stadium. That's another thing I could end up doing. I also had to put this huge jacket on and sweep out the subzero cooler which at this place was as big as an auto store. Pretty much comparable to an auto store in every way except it held huge frozen racks of seafood and other things. Someone has to sweep up the broken pallets that fall apart either completely or just little pieces fall off the bottoms of them.

Liberty Tax Service-San Diego, CA

This a crappy job but it's also fairly fun to be dressed up like the statue of liberty for a few hours as long as you stay hydrated. But it's only for a couple months during tax season. Im proud to say that I will never be doing that job again.

EPA Refrigeration Certification
In progress, meaning it's an unforgiving test. I'll be studying and taking very soon. But it's the equivalent of one of the finals in basic HVAC. San Diego City College has a brand new program in HVAC. EPA, tests are hard because you can only have so many wrong answers, this whole time I've been taking lots of classes and the EPA certs got put on hold. But not for long. Assessments
