Reviewing the community development requirements based on an assessment of the area in proximity to renewable energy projects in the Bhadla solar park. To support RREC in finalizing the draft community policy with targets for empowerment of such communities including through access to infrastructure including electricity and drinking solar power, vocational training, livelihood and access to markets including a gender based focus (Refer footnote h), develop Implementation plans, cost estimates and monitoring indicators for these Activities. Activities performed: To look after the all I.E.C., works of PHED. GWD, Irrigation, Rajasthan Cannals, Command Area Development, Water Shed & other all Line Department of Water Recourses Planning of Rajasthan Government & UNDER EUROPEAN COMMISSION SPP(Project), State Partnership Programme Project, that included interlay Urban Roads Project covering the State, was responsible for carrying out extensive consultation with stakeholders including government and non-government agencies, institutions, communities and affected groups and provided inputs towards the project components and the sub-projects in the project cities. As the poverty and community development specialist for the project, carried out an assessment of the poverty situation in the project cities through review of published information, data analysis as well as primary surveys and consultations, awareness activities. Prepared report for the project, initial poverty and social assessment. As the Public Relation & Consultation Specialist of Project (Asian Development Bank) & Project Implementation & Urban Management Improvement in Rajasthan state, India covering the consultation with various stakeholders from Non-Government and Government agencies and guiding the states and grass root NGOs/Local Institutions in carrying out urban Management Projects. Also responsible for co-coordinating the various socio-economic surveys in the project cities, analysis and providing inputs to the technical experts in the formulation of the sub-projects in the various infrastructure sectors. As Social & Community Consultation Specialist of Project is responsible for socio-economic survey of the likely affected families, assess the likely social impact due to road up gradation, road safety, prepare an R&R and strategy, prepare budget and so many awareness activities conducted. As social expert of is responsible for assess the present socio-economic condition of the communities, poverty assessment, carry out stakeholder’s consultations, involve local institutions/NGOs/ CBOs in future development and prepare a capital investment plan & Awareness development strategy for safe water, proper disposal of solid waste and social infrastructure development. Programme on road safety was also implemented as rally/safety show/ nuked Natak etc.
