Career Objective
To build a career in the electrical power industry by applying my knowledge of energy systems, substation modelling, and power quality improvement. I aim to contribute to efficient, safe, and sustainable energy solutions in industrial environments.
Technical Skills
• Programming & Tools: Microsoft Office Excel (Basic), Microsoft Office PowerPoint, AutoCAD (Electrical).
• Soft Skills: Critical Thinking, Communication, Business Acumen, Problem-Solving Projects
Prototype Model of Live Substation
Tools & Technologies: Relays and Circuit Breakers (Model), Step-down Transformer, Voltage/Current Sensors, Wiring
• Developed a scaled-down prototype of a modern AC electrical power substation to simulate the end-to-end process of voltage transformation, fault protection, and load distribution.
• The project reflects the real-world flow of electrical power starting from generation at 6.6 kV/11 kV, stepped up to 132 kV/220 kV for transmission, and finally stepped down for distribution near consumer areas. Energy Audit and Power Quality Improvement in Textile Industry
• Conducted a comprehensive energy audit in a textile manufacturing unit with a focus on VFD-fed induction motor drives.
• Verified and monitored real-time energy consumption data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Assessed energy usage patterns to detect inefficiencies in motor operations and overall power distribution. Key Contributions:
• Analysed power factor, harmonics, and load profiles of induction motors across various departments.
• Identified areas of high energy losses and suggested optimized motor loading and VFD tuning.
• Developed a detailed action plan outlining energy-saving measures, implementation timelines, and role assignments.
• Proposed upgrades to power quality using capacitive compensation and harmonic filters. Education
