Brad is a senior Oracle PL/SQL developer currently supporting the NLAC program. As a senior developer in the NLAC development team, he has completed all the tasks assigned to him in the timeframe and the hours allocated. He comes with a deep understanding/knowledge of Oracle and has taken the initiative to apply his skills and experience to the betterment of the NLAC program. He provides innovative and knowledgeable feedback and has worked on many occasions with the System Architect supporting complex NLAC database issues.
Brad has taken on many roles in NLAC modernization. He has cross trained and has become one of the primary ODI developers which is key to the NLAC modernization effort. While working on the modernization effort, Brad was one of the key contributors on the “sourcing workflows” effort by actively collaborating with the System Architect and building the N2bridge code and the Archiving and Purging code. He has also actively collaborated with the java team and the test team in building the appropriate DB code to complete the complex modernization tasks and has jumped in readily to assist other team members whenever there was an issue. Mr. Rowe currently provides Oracle support for TSA’s HRAccess application after the successful migration from Metastorm to Process Suite BPM. Mr. Rowe served as the senior Oracle developer for the USCIS VIS project. Designs and develops Oracle 11g stored program units and objects using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL Navigator and TOAD. He has also developed advanced programs using Perl to facilitate automated DB builds and deployments.
Mr. Rowe is a Certified Oracle Professional designing and creating new database schemas, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, foreign and primary key constraints, object types, classes, and materialized views for the VIS project. Uses TKProf, Autotrace and Explain Plans to analyze existing code statistics for efficiency/performance, and applies necessary and effective tuning techniques for throughput and efficiency. Coordinates and performs release builds of the applications and mentors the deployments into staging and production environments.

Mr. Rowe was recruited to replace three contracted custom Oracle applications consultants. Served as application developer supporting PSINet’s customers and nationwide user community. Designed, developed, and supported Oracle Forms applications and Oracle 7/8 database program units: created and modified tables, schemas, data, views, sequences, constraints, synonyms, scripts, packages, procedures, functions and database triggers, using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Developer 2000, and TOAD. Received excellent reviews from management and user groups. Maintained all aspects of PSINet’s Business Objects data warehouse and end user domains, developing all universes, ad hoc, canned reports for 2000+ end users. Trained end users on Business Objects. Performed ETL of Cogent’s data into PSINet’s systems after merger. Developed staging tables, load processes (packages, triggers, scripts, etc.), and views, to enable data analysis and due diligence.
