I am a 7th grade math teacher possessing strong leadership qualities. As a 6th grade math teacher I was the department head, on the schools leadership team, and have been fully trained in Professional Learning Communities as well as Adaptive Schools Training. I am committed to the academic and social success of all my students. I tutor four nights a week as part of the after school program as well as organize and run clubs that build skills, emphasize character, and enhance children’s education.

COMMUNICATION
Communication is a hallmark of education. I am a strong communicator, I know the difference between dialog and discussion, and the importance of when to speak and when to listen. I can skillfully talk to my peers, administrators, parents and students alike. I have presented to college students just starting in the education program at Crowder College.
LEADERSHIP
I was the leader of the math department at Neosho Middle School. I was a part of the school wide leadership team. I led the after school program, designed clubs and programs, and I was a mentor for new teachers in the building.
