Responsibilities of these positions are/were; cleaning resident suites and the facilities common areas, laundry and engaging with the residents. Dietary Aide consists of assisting in the kitchen and serving resident meals in the dining room at meal times. Marketing for our facility was one of my responsibilities.

September 2022 – November 2023 Secretary/Treasurer’s Office

Processed and maintained all financial transactions for Newark High School; provided receipts for money received and made daily bank deposits. Input purchase requisitions into the computer system. Managed student fees/accepted credit card payments and in person payments and then input fees into the computer. Prepared daily Pay Ins for all incoming money. Ran interims and report cards. Assisted with all student testing (Advanced Placement/AP, End of Course/EOC, American College Testing/ACT. Withdrew and transfered students. Processed and maintained information for expulsions. November 2019 – April 2022 Administrative Clerk

Prepared weekly and monthly reports. Attended Math department meetings where I took, transcribed and distributed minutes. Prepared student class schedules. Selected student final exams. Prepared test packets for teachers and students and then input test scores to be accessed for the completion of state assessments. June 2007 – October 2016 Owner/Operator

Pink Poodle Consignment Boutique, Heath, Ohio

Created the concept, opened and operated an upscale consignment boutique. Responsibilities included: Designed/created a company logo, consignor contracts, flyers, newsletters, brochures, business cards, and other forms and/or contracts as needed. Configured and maintained a consignment shop specific software program. Customer service – provided a friendly and welcoming greeting to customers and consignors; selected and maintained above average consignors; engaged with each customer to ensure their complete satisfaction with each transaction. Requirements for me included business management, sales, merchandising, inventory control, bookkeeping, ordering inventory, and merchandise pricing. Throughout the eight (8) years of operation, I partnered with a local agency to employ young girls eighteen (18) or younger. My responsibility was to help these young women become responsible, confident adults. Prepared and typed legal forms required by the bank for purchase of homes owned by said bank. Submitted all necessary forms and documents to appropriate banks for consideration.

Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon, Ohio - Peggy Penkhaus – V.P. of Quality Assurance Responsibilities: Answered phones, typing, filing, copying and faxing. Transcribed minutes for eight (8) hospital/physician committees. Prepared/compiled minutes for distribution to each roster of physician committee members. Facilitated monthly Continuing Education courses for physicians. Recorded necessary documentation to ensure that physicians received appropriate credit for Continuing Education courses. Physician credentialing – researched documentation received for all physicians making application to practice at Knox Community Hospital. Corresponded with previous hospitals/providers to validate all credentialing information on applications. Maintained all credentialing of physicians current and accurate. Typed all documents necessary for review and possible dismissal of privileges of physicians who failed to comply with hospital rules and regulations.

August 2003 – March 2004 Medicare Billing Specialist

Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon, Ohio

Responsibilities: Researched pended medical claims for inaccuracy of billing codes. Once procedures were correctly coded, claims were released, thus generating possible lost revenue to the hospital. Medicare Billing – researched pended Medicare claims for inaccuracy of billing codes. When unable to determine correct codes for procedures, worked directly with Medicare to determine what the correct billing codes were for the procedures in question. Once the claims were billed correctly, they were released. Again, generating possible lost revenue to the hospital.
