Project Brief:

This project is a financial loan processing system responsible for managing the complete loan lifecycle. The objective was to migrate legacy MuleSoft-based integrations to a modern, scalable, and cost-effective .NET Core microservices architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities:

Migrated legacy MuleSoft APIs to ASP.NET Core Web APIs, supporting loan origination, validation, approval, and downstream system integrations.

Replaced MuleSoft flows with high-performance .NET Core microservices, improving scalability, maintainability, and observability.

Designed and developed secure RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and LINQ. Implemented non-blocking, asynchronous APIs using async/await, enabling high concurrency, improved throughput, and reduced response times for loan-processing workflows. Implemented Azure API Management (APIM) for authentication, request/response transformation, throttling, and centralized API governance.
