Worked in the IT department creating and maintaining the IBMi software.

The IBMi languages were FREE FORM, RPGLE,SQL and Embedded SQL, CLP DDS,DDL, triggers, stored procedures DB2 etc..

This company followed a SDLC as an Agile format.

Azure was used to create the Stories from the backlogs.

Programmer Analyst-AS400-ISERIES Securities -Stock Trade Reporting

Programmer/Analyst on the AS400/IBMI, wrote new programs, as well as maintained the existing legacy on the IBMI development system. The language was (Free Form -RPGLE – DDS – CLP- ILE- DB2 etc…). All program I/O functionality is done with Embedded SQL. Tables were made with the DDL language. Followed a SDLC using the Agility/SVRUM methodology.

Using the existing stock trades data— created new DDL Tables, and programs to provide reporting of the Stock/Options, and Equity trades for that day.

The daily reporting was manual. Created a trade expiration report that computed the current status of the customers stock positions, while staying in sync with the OCC. With this criteria, the process was streamlined for determining what trades should be bought or sold by the customer. This automated process cut the manual labor cost 70%.

Most applications are executed via Robot. Generated reports are sent via email to select users for review.

Provided test scripts to validate the new/modified code to be implemented through Aldon.

Managed the MKS Implementer. All developers were able to shorten the time taken to complete the project life cycle.

Made interface accounting files stay in sync with the JDE interface package, by reviewing JDE code and building a bridge CLP program.

Made new functionality and modifications to the existing warehouse system. This made the warehouse run more efficiently.
