Job Description/Summary: Managed the supply chain functions relating to the transportation and exportation process.

Responsibilities:

Generated and managed the Export Commercial Invoices using Rig Ship System and NOV Glovia Parts System. Manual input of data, i.e., certificate of origin, country of origin, cost, weights & dims etc.

Assisted the Customer Support Group. Maintained close relationships with sales, shipping department, project managers, coordinators, buyers, engineering, packers, steamship lines and freight forwarders, etc., for export shipments of NOV oilfield equipment.

Ensured appropriate documentation and accurate inventory transactions in support of providing service to both internal and external customers.

General knowledge of government website pertaining to Automated Export System for AES filing and prepare consent to screen (air) to freight forwarders.

Coordinated export compliance issues, including interpretation and application of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and other export laws which may apply.

Prepared export documentation in compliance with transaction requirements and all applicable U.S. and foreign trade regulations.

Served as liaison with customer service to communicate tracking information and shipping issues with freight carriers, customers, and international distributors.

Worked closely with our Compliance Team for determination for HTS and ECCN codes.

WEATHERFORD PIPELINE SPECIALTY SERVICES 12/14/11 - 07/27/12

LEAK DETECTION UNIT/ASSET COORD.

Coordinated the administrative and asset support functions for major field leak detection operations.

Retrieved, downloaded and printed all the flight docs. Pre open all the files required prior to wheels down. Insure the file contains all necessary documents in proper sequence, i.e waybill, commercial invoice, arrival notice, packing lists etc.

Scheduled and expedited the pickup from the airport direct to the warehouse or schedule the inland transit to Laredo.

Responsible for tracking the inland freight Houston to Laredo for the customer and advising the eta confirmation.

Obtained proof of delivery receipts for all deliveries to Laredo necessary for closing the file and proceed with the billing.
