Overcame resistance to change tradition by tenure members through persuasion to conduct social hour before instead of after the meeting. Collaborated on setting up training in use of a defibrillator and obtaining an additional one. Discovered after two employees had heart attacks at a work site the lack of an effective risk management strategic plan that included certification in use of a defibrillator that was within an acceptable distance from the victim. The site nurse gave a special class to over 90% of workers who volunteered and a new defibrillator was mounted on the wall outside of our office.
