2013 - CURRENT Independently owned visual effects / digital creative resource for film, television, advertising, technical visualization, and all other emerging

media. Crew sizes range from just me, to a large

group of seasoned professionals depending on the

scope of work. My primary duties include VFX

supervision of entire productions, on-set

supervision, pre / post-production work,

breakdowns of both the creative scripted work,

and project budgets. I am also an “on the box”

artist, usually tackling most of the complicated 3D and 2D work using a variety of techniques, old and new.

and then, Facility VFX Supervisor at a list of

prominent VFX Film and Commercial Production

Companies (2). I was tasked to manage large crews

on some of the biggest and most creative VFX

heavy movies and media of the time.

new media projects(3).

Currently entering my third decade in

the post / digital field. My career began

in commercial digital production

creating 3D effects. After working

around the United States on various

projects, I decided to make Los Angeles

my home. For the next 10+ years, I

worked as a 3D and VFX Supervisor at a

few facilities working on tent-pole

Feature Films and large market Ad

Campaigns. In 2013, I decided to venture

out on my own to work on Feature Films

and all other Media related projects.

Primarily targeting Independent Films,

and “In House” marketing campaigns

under the banner of “Image Trading

Company”.

• Thirty years of experience in post-production, with twenty of those years as a facility and production side VFX Supervisor / Producer.

• Experienced at communicating creative goals to and from Directors, budget assessments, and time goals to the production team.

• A strong knowledge of all things VFX from pre-production to final delivery, i.e. script breakdown, bids, pre-vis, department head collaboration, on set supervision, editorial support, post VFX, etc.

• Focused on helping both production and VFX crews to maintain a well communicated and calm project. “Don’t panic, it’ll be fine!”

• Team sizes range from one to hundreds depending on the size of the show and the number of vendors involved.

• Literate in most VFX and post-production standard software.

• Proudly still an «on the box» artist on every show regardless of responsibility level.
