• Developed and implemented cash control procedures, restructured daily operations and marketing. Cut expenses by 32%.
• Introduced Wedding’s at Oasis Sports Park and Special event venue. Re-branded Oasis Sports Park to “The Oasis” successfully booked three Weddings in one open house. We had an initial increase of 40% in 2010 and each year we have double digit increases through 2018.
• Restructured and implemented new job descriptions for all inside and outside employees to organize and prioritize. This resulted in the best P&L in 6 years.
• Developed marketing material to promote the businesses i.e.; flyers, brochures, postcards, and welcome packets for new home owners. This resulted in 10% increase from customers from nearby communities.
Director of Development Easter Seals Virginia -April 2007-April 2008
• Successfully fundraised over $300,000 in a six-month period.
• Developed new strategies and marketing tools to increase the main fundraising event by 36% from L.Y

• Designed and delivered training to seven districts/140 stores for Cosmetics and the 1-hour photo department. This was based on corporate guidelines but reformatted to meet each market needs.
• Developed and implemented communication plans for seven districts to keep managers on track to meet merchandising and training goals. The plans were executed through store visits, manager’s meetings, conference calls, e-mails & newsletters.
• Selected to train over 50 People’s Drug store managers for the CVS/Pharmacy conversion.
• Managed four different problem stores in Maine designated as a “Trouble Shoot Manager”. The position was to hire & train, reduce inventory, boost morale and put organization back into the stores.
Marketing
• Successfully signed two major companies for 1-hour photo business accounts.
• Designed brochures and Photo Packets for high school proms to sell 1-hour photo picture packages. Successfully signed up ten high schools
• Implemented Regional yearly cosmetic seminars for the region. The seminar is based on customer service, guest vendors, games, and awards.
• Selected as Regional Volunteer Coordinator to organize and implement Community Outreach programs for four markets.
• Organized and decorated the CVS/Pharmacy booth at the Virginia State Fair to welcome over 50,000 children and adults. We educated people over an eleven-day period about CVS. We were voted number one, two years in a row, as the “most popular booth”.
• Arranged partnership with Easter Seals/CVS. Organized & designed marketing material to raise money for Easter Seals. We raised over $70,000.00 and were the most successful Region in the company.

• Recruited and trained numerous Photo and Beauty Advisor throughout four markets.
• Influencer for problem solving and changes in Photo and Cosmetics, for seven District Managers and their stores.
• Provided coaching and counseling for store managers, photo supervisors and cosmetic personnel.
