On September 14, 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, pre-counseling and therapy. My goal is to expand on this foundation by pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), along with graduate certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Addiction Treatment (LAC), and possibly Social Work (BSW).

I have been accepted into Capella University’s Master’s program in Psychology, with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My professional background is deeply rooted in psychology, specifically in behavioral treatment for children and adolescents with behavioral and neurodevelopmental challenges. After spending the first 30 years of my career in the accounting field, where I held various management roles, I found that life experiences reignited my passion for psychology and led me back to my original calling.

I am particularly passionate about integrating innovative approaches, such as polyvagal theory, somatic practices, yoga, and sound therapy, into my therapeutic practice. I completed training as a hemodialysis technician; however, I never completed the certification as the requirement of working 4 to 5 twelve-hour shifts proved to be too demanding while I was pursuing my college education full-time. Consequently, I made the decision to prioritize my academic commitments and seek a part-time employment opportunity.
