Projects Handled

1- Laying of Main Fiber Optic Cable

Supervised the laying of main 9 pair fiber optic cable in Rahim Yar Khan – Daharki section, the first fiber cable laid in Pakistan. Including cable protection and splicing in 1992-93 to provide major new telecom network in Pakistan after removal of Co-axial cable. 2- Installation Of DWDM System

Supervised the installation of first DWDM system in Pakistan in Rahim Yar Khan sub division in 1998- 99 to provision of excessive channels for digital network. 3- Project for Change of Low Frequency Radio Equipment with SRAL Equipment. Successfully changed about 175 links of all low frequency radio links with extra high frequency equipment (SRAL) in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Mandi Bahudin, Narowal, Gujrat and Kharian districts with given time limit in 2005 to sale out the low frequencies to GSM operators in Pakistan. 4- Optical Fiber Access Network (OFAN)

Performed an active role in planning and implementation of laying of fiber optic cable and installation of Optical Network Units (ONUs) on different sites in Lahore division in 2006-08 to provide major PTCL network facilities like DSL, video call etc. to the subscribers. 5- Warid Phase- 5
