I am currently employed at NIKE HQ through Aramark food services as a barista at Joannies cafe. My job position requires me to provide adequate customer service to our customers, correctly take their orders, and efficiently serve them with their desired beverages. We have frequently returning customers which allows us to establish and build long lasting relationships with them. My position also requires me to effectively maintain a clean and sterile environment by daily cleaning tasks. Some days are very busy and some days are less busy in which I am very well versed on adapting to customer traffic.

August 2020 - April 2025 (from full time to part time employee) At Dickeys BBQ Pit I was in charge of customer service via directly in person as well as over the phone and Outlook. I was involved with setting up large catering events for customers which entailed me to confirm dates, food orders, number of persons, and the preparation of said orders efficiently while also maintaining the workplace. I was in charge of counting the till and sending nightly reports to my higher ups via spreadsheets containing correct financial accounting. During my sophomore year at SHS, as a proud member of the afro-indigenous community, I was an active member (social media networker) of our Black Student Union. During the BLM protests in 2020 I, along with my 5 peers, orchestrated an entire BLM march which held over 500 participants and made local headlines.
