I’ve worked in the transportation field for 24years. I started as a Transit Operator: I drove 30,45 and 60ft articulated diesel vehicles on a timetable schedule. I followed all Federal safety protocols under ADA and traffic and safety. I received several citations for safe driving and my customer service skills. My time in this department is from 1998 to 2007.
City County of San Francisco Parking and Traffic
I worked in this department as a Parking Control Officer. My tasks included citing and towing vehicles illegally parked within San Francisco city limits. I handled calls for traffic control, emergency street closures and handled event closures. During this time, I was in training as a Communications Dispatcher I. Using a stationed 2-way and a hand-held radio (when needed), I dispatched vehicles to cites regarding illegally parked, stolen recovery, and private parking tows. With my customer service skills, I gave information and answered questions pertaining to parking citations in the San Francisco city limits. My time in this department was from 2007 to 2020.

My last position in this department was Communications Dispatcher 1, during Covid-19. I was assigned as a Disaster Service Worker (DSW). Assisting the public up to 18hrs daily. I answered calls from the public, requesting service for vehicles illegally parked. I serviced intake for tow requests from public, private, Park Rangers and SFPD departments. I filed documents using electronic filing system with manual log backups. Typed 50wpm and handled a multi-line phone system. My final time with this department ended 2022 when I suffered a work-related injury.
