Served as the S6 for an Echelon above Corps (EAC) Combat Support Hospital and medical Task Force with over 440 soldiers assigned.

Foreign Internal Defense Projects – served as an embedded advisor with the Afghanistan National Security Force during Operation Enduring Freedom (2003). Assigned as a Brigade Signal Combat Advisor for the 1600-man Afghan National Army 3rd Brigade (Quick Reaction Force). Redeployed (2009) and served as Police Mentor Team Leader and Operations Officer (S3) while assigned to the Joint Task Force Kabul.

Drilling / Wellsite Supervisor (North Dakota and Gulf of Mexico) 2012 – 2016

Served as a Drilling Supervisor in the Bakken region of North Dakota, overseeing daily rig operations, monitoring drilling performance, and controlling costs. Contributed to a Lean Manufacturing initiative that successfully standardized drilling procedures across the Bakken. Also assigned as an EHS Supervisor aboard the Noble Paul Romano in the Gulf of Mexico, where responsibilities included leading daily safety meetings, conducting site inspections, and ensuring full compliance with BSEE regulations. Signal Officer (25A)

Served as III Corps G6 Network Operations Officer, managing the integration of diverse automation and communication systems into interoperable local and long-haul networks supporting tactical, theater, strategic, and base operations. Designed network architecture to meet battlefield requirements, exercised network control, and conducted ongoing analysis. Led unified network operations during a theater-level exercise while deployed to the Republic of Korea. Commanded a Warrior Transition Unit of up to 120 Wounded Warriors, a tactical Signal Company of 104 soldiers with equipment valued over $35 million, and the U.S. Army San Joaquin Recruiting Company overseeing 42 soldiers across five recruiting stations in central California. As Senior Operations Officer for Joint Task Force-Kabul during Operation Enduring Freedom, collaborated with Regional Command-Capital and coalition forces to restructure the Afghan National Army’s 111th Capital Division, planned and executed Kabul Province Afghan National Police training programs, and coordinated efforts with civilian contractors and multinational coalition partners. Served as Brigade Signal Combat Advisor for the 1,600-man Afghan National Army 3rd Brigade Quick Reaction Force. Completed six years enlisted service before commissioning through Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA.
