Sales Associate

Recently moved to Sylva, NC and looking for work, preferably part-time, but willinging to work more as needed. Very experienced in sales, customer service, retail, and wholesale business. As a retail manager, and business owner, I understand the importance of merchandising, and effective, prominent displays. As an artist I find this interesting, and creative. I've designed many signs, print, and digital posters, web graphics, banners, and advertisements.

I am a self-starter, work well with others, and can contribute to any business in a multitude of ways. For years I've designed graphics, social media marketing campaigns, and negotiated with regional, and international businesses, publishers, producers, and acclaimed artists.. Additionally, I've written and recorded radio ads with original music, articles, and blogs for "American Songwriter," magazine, product descriptions, and promotions for large online retailers. Including, "Musicians Friend," "Music 123," “American Musical Supply,” and others. Music I've written, and produced is on radio, TV, and in several films.

Note: I do have a disability - however, thanks to medical advances, and 3 major successful surgeries, previously impossible, I'm once again able-bodied, and anxious to return to the workforce.

Highly energetic, warm, friendly, accustomed to dealing with the public, and people from all walks of life. As a professional musician, I still perform some Friday, and Saturday nights, which requires travel. However, I'm willing to work as late as possible on those days, and whatever weekly hours are needed. I'm meticulous, and take pride in all I do.

I have a great deal of business experience in many areas, and am always willing to do what I can, and whatever needs to be done. For many years I've primarily been self-employed, or working through agents in Nashville, LA, and NYC. I've settled in NC, and have no intention to be touring, or traveling as I did. I'll always be a singer/songwriter, however, I need a regular, steady income. Personal references are available, the only local professional references currently are management, or owners of, "The Rathskeller," in Franklin, NC.
