DAILY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•As a senior scrub nurse begins each case by welcoming the patient to the operation room.

•Performing pre operative assessment and coordinating with ot team members and instruct to circulatory nurse.

•Maintaining highest possible standard patient care with aseptic techniques.

•Assisting surgeon in procedures passing sterile instruments, gauze,mops and suture meterials.

•open heart bipass surgery"s& beating heart and on pump cases both peadiatric and abult.

•Performing vein harvesting,chest opening and closure.

•Assisting surgeon in laproscopic procedures and endoscopic vein harvesting.

•Performing and assisting in intubation,arterial and venous line insertion.

•Performing IABP removal with aseptic technique.

•Maintain good relationship with all colleagues and doctors.

•Collect and send swab for culture and maintain records

•Periodical evalution of working status of ETO and AUTOCLAVE machines

•Performing and removal ICD tube .
