(1)Writing and Research:
From extensive K-12 international school-teaching experience and prior studies (four distinct degrees) attending four of Canada’s top Universities, I have a strong Liberal Arts background in the Humanities and Social Sciences. I can ably collect and organize, synthesize, distill, and communicate information from diverse sources.
(2)Geography, History, and Languages:
I speak and write English and French fluently and can also communicate in Spanish. I travelled and worked and lived on most continents on earth, many countries, and many parts of Canada. I believe geohistorical knowledge matters.
(3) Trades and Construction:
I have pursued elementary studies in the fields of Carpentry and Masonry and worked as a laborer/helper on many commercial and residential construction projects and sites.

• The early 2000s: My earliest job titles were diverse and included mail delivery, tree-planting, snowboard instructing, short-order cooking, and warehousing. I also worked for various small businesses in manufacturing and natural resources during this early adulthood phase of my life. Most of this work occurred during Summer breaks from college.
• From 2001-2013, I studied for four degrees in four of Canada’s top universities, respectively: BA (UBC), MA (uOttawa), Baccalaureat multidisciplinaire (Universite de Laval), and B.Ed (Queen’s). My studies in this period mainly focused on Philosophy, the Social Sciences, History, French, and Education. I read and wrote very widely and had several outstanding Teachers.
• From 2014-24, I travelled the world extensively to Teach English and many other subjects to diverse audiences of young people. I taught many thousands of students of all ages, many subjects, in 15 countries outside of Canada.
• In 2025, to explore a career in a construction trade, I worked with a crew of blocklayers on the Broadway Subway Project (Vancouver, 40 hours) and completed 80 hours of pre-apprenticeship training with the Ontario Masonry Training Centre in Ottawa (80 hours).
• October 2025: I have made the decision to pursue work in in Ottawa where I am now actively seeking employment
Beyond Work:
I have been active in many amateur sports communities across Canada and I practice the Mandolin (a musical instrument) on a daily basis. In September 2025 I travelled throughout Ontario to hike and camp and visit many provincial parks.
