Apple Inc. - CoreOS - QE Engineer/Systems Quality DRI — 2017 - 2024
• Core IONS Systems Quality DRI in charge of small team of internal and external testers responsible for Quality across all of Apple’s HW devices using Core IONS software; authored test plans to qualify all in development and legacy Apple hardware projects for factory, internal and external test teams covering the breath of I/O technologies supported by Core IONS. This used a combination of manual testing and automation in a CI structure to qualify system software on all consumer hardware products (all iOS, watchOS, tvOS, MacOS devices).
• Core IONS QE DRI for Apple’s transition to USB-C - Lead cross-functional testing between different teams, including training and weekly engineering submission qualification and reporting of features and results. This was an enormous undertaking for Apple, going to the USB-C connector, and it entailed training the team on the technology with weekly updates, traveling to other countries to supervise testing and many cross-functional meetings with both HW and SW teams in Apple.
