when's the I started I was just a carpenter but after a few years I became foreman. that required me to get houses done on time and assign tasks to 5 other employees wich also included making sure things were done right. I read and understood blue prints I talked to clients. basically i had to be able to build a house without asking questions Phaneuf custom homes.

this was when I went on my own. I found jobs bid them, employed a couple workers and completed roughly 6 houses or more among other projects. but then I got in a car wreck and almost died so stopped doing this Ck builders- journeyman carpenter. 4/2018-6/2020

10/2020- diagnosed with high grade cutaneous b cell lymphoma. I was given 6-8 one week chemotherapy session every month for 6-8 months I was required to take 1 year off work 2023- so since beating cancer. I'm not gonna lie it's been a little hard to find a company that I can call home. My first job after cancer was ace handyman services I worked there for about 6 months or more but I started having car issues and ended up blowing up my vehicle so that cost me my job so I put a brand new engine in everything was good I was working for Forbes construction they like built little apartments in back yards of wealthier people the apartments he built were subbed from a company called minimalist. I worked there for about a year maybe a little more. It was ok not real challenging so I don't get to shine much I'm just there for a check. I've come up building custom homes so I like a challenge I promise I can build any roof, easy to me. But I'm good in everything associated with wood. So up until last week I was working for holtzman home improvement for probably 3 months. I honestly really enjoyed this job but unfortunately I don't drive a truck and it was an issue eventually leading to me being let go. So ya I drive a car I have two. I can commute reliably to work everyday and no issue my cars are nice. I have every tool I need; miter saw, table saw compressor nail guns including finish guns, skil saw, drills, sawzall, jig saw, multi tool, levels, clamps, sanders really just everything. You can send me anywhere I'm good. All I'm looking for is a honest chance. I'm trying to be able to buy a truck but dang they are pricey all of a sudden everybody wants trucks. Shoot new trucks are 40 to 80 grand or more. It's funny people think if your a construction worker you own a truck but really construction workers make just a little more than minimum wage now days. You use to get a decent lifestyle being a carpenter but inflation has shot that out the window 2 bedroom apartments are 1800 to 2200 a month gas $5 a gallon don't even get me going on the grocery store. I have always loved building houses I actually enjoy the trade it just sucks workers aren't making a little more EDUCATION
