I plan on finishing high school and going to Texas

A&M to pursue a degree in animal science. I then

plan on attending the Texas A&M Veterinary

School to receive my DVM.

I am a motivated and responsible high school senior with a strong interest in animal science, seeking an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic.

GPA: 4.5 (on a weighted 4.0 scale)

Relevant coursework: AP Biology, TAP Chemistry, Principles of Agriculture, Small Animal Science(half year), Equine Science(half year), Veterinary Medical Applications course, Practicum Vet Med course (Vet Med Applications consisted of grooming a variety of dogs weekly, discussing the anatomy and physiology of different species, and going over basic vet procedures)

Volunteer work through my schools vet med practicum program: I volunteer 2-6 several times a week at My Family Vet helping vet techs complete everyday tasks such as holding dogs, giving vaccines, running test, and speaking to clients. I have recently completed almost 100 hours of service.
