Description:

BMW is a SAO project. One of the big engagements of Accenture. It has more than 200+ FTE`s providing support for more than 500+ applications.BMW ATLAS (Advanced parts in Logistics After Sales) is the most critical application among the 500+ applications. BMW ATLAS has a team strength of 30 divided in to 5 groups.(WM,SD,APO,ABAP,EAI).It has a support window for 24x6 covering Europe and US warehouses with very strict SLA`s.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Part of SAP ABAP team.

Accepting the tickets created by the users and performing the basic analysis on the problem described in the ticket.

Solving the incidents if they are related to standard cookbook solutions and if not performing the basic analysis and routing the ticket to the appropriate group for further action.

Analyzing the recurring incidents and set up cookbook solutions thereby reducing the dependency on senior resources and providing quicker solution.

Monitoring the Job runs in SAP and taking corrective actions upon failure.

Monitor for ALE IDOC Message Types and taking corrective action for Failure Idocs.

Creating and solving the tickets in REMEDY for Idoc failures (Both Inbound and Outbound)

Performing the automated Goods issue and Goods Receipt process as a part of early monitoring activity.

Ensuring the data flow between SAP R/3 and APO/RF devices is in sync by monitoring the Queues in SMQ1, SMQ2 & SM58.

Extracting the Reports from Remedy and highlighting the tickets that are nearing SLA`s to the respective team leads so immediate action is taken.

Documentating the new processes and cookbooks created and maintaining them in the appropriate document repository.
