As background, I am retired from the Federal Fire Service. I started there as a Firefighter and later promoted to Driver/Operator, Captain and Inspector. During that time I was certified as a California DMV Employer Testing Program trainer to train and test new drivers for upgrading to a Firefighter Class B license. Before and during my time in the Fire Service I drove Class A trucks . After mandatory retirement from the fire service, I started working as a truck driver for several companies. I was a Driver/Trainer at my last job.

I used container chassis to shuttle 20, 40, and 45 foot containers to and from the rail and intermodal terminals in the Port of Oakland. I completed pre and post trip inspections of tractors & trailers. I currently hold a current TWIC. I was also one of the Driver Trainers to train newly hired drivers.
