I was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the training and keeping records on the wellbeing of our k9's. All k-9 security officers attended Master k-9, Inc police k-9 academy and qualified for title P.S.D. 1 and were required to provide training logs monthly. Long Beach Community Hospital was the first Hospital in the southland to implement and introduce k-9's in a hospital setting and had a successful k-9 program for 7 years.
