During these years, I attended many advanced educational methodology training courses. Most of them targeted improving "Effective Communication skills". These courses were arranged and supervised by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
- In 2003, I had the first contact with the Oil Industry, when I arranged and carried out a comprehensive training course for about 25 newly employed hands in the General Petroleum Company in Ras -Suder, South Sinai while still living there. The main target was to improve their technical English. This was my first field exposure that gave me the chance to gain more knowledge about production equipment; their functions and the regular and preventative maintenance carried out for them. This enabled me to become familiar with the various production facilities in Ras Suder field. I also had the opportunity to witness the Seismic Exploration operations carried out by Western-Geco Company for the General Petroleum Company in the same field in South Sinai.

This course was arranged and carried out by Aberdeen drilling Schools and TQLS company for newly employed Kuwaiti young men. The main goal was to qualify them to join work in Halliburton Company. This gave me a very good chance to theoretically improve my knowledge about the field of drilling, its equipment, techniques and the terms used in this field.
Later, when I came back to Egypt I decided to broaden my scope of knowledge about this field by concentrating on a higher level, so I studied comprehensively about Drilling Equipment, Well control, Safety, Well completion, Artificial lift equipment and techniques. In August 2007, I had the IWCF (International Well Control Forum) Certificate "Supervisor Level".
- During 2008, there were not new projects so I was kept as a retainer by ADS. This gave me a very good chance to study more and more and at the same time I carried out some other assignments such as organizing and booking training centers for the coming "Train the Trainer course" for the newly hired instructors in Cairo, Carrying out some interviews to evaluate some of the new candidates proficiency in English, and making arrangements for interviews through video conference.
