Provides operational support to the TCL team including clinical and administrative supervision of the complex care program. Ensures compliance with processes and procedures established by the DOJ settlement to serve the complex needs of the individuals served. Supervision of RNs and OT for complex care and RNs for LTSS. Ongoing evaluation and monitoring to meet performance measures and adherence to TCL initiative. Administers and conducts audits, reviews, analysis, and interpretation of results. Highly intensive nurse home visitation program - serving 25 at-risk first-time mothers through weekly/biweekly visits per model of fidelity. Goals of home visitation include but are not limited to: improving pregnancy outcomes by promoting good preventive health practices, improving child health and development, and advancing the concepts of economic self-sufficiency. Services provided include nursing assessments completed during prenatal and postpartum care and newborn/infant/toddler assessments; anticipatory guidance regarding the various stages of pregnancy and continues during infancy through the child's second birthday. Other duties include training with the Child Health and Adult Immunization Clinics to assist with the administration of state required/available vaccines. Training utilized for scheduled rotations in immunizations and for the delivery of Seasonal Flu and H1N1 vaccinations on and off organizational site to both school and community settings. Nurse Family Partnership Training through National Service Office in Denver Colorado beginning in January 2009 continuing through October 2010.

Provide direct nursing care to antepartum and postpartum Obstetrical patients. Provides care in a safe and effective manner while supervising the activities of Nursing Assistants and clerical staff. Direct care provided for laboring and cesarean section patients as well as monitoring the recovery of patients delivering via cesarean or vaginally. Care provided for high risk patients including, but not limited to: Gestational Diabetes, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, Pyelonephritis, Pre-Eclampsia, Eclampsia, Hyperemesis, Status Post Magnesium Sulfate, Multiple Gestation and Substance Abuse. Admission and Discharge teaching performed regularly. Compassionate care provided to families experiencing fetal demise and/or infant death, providing empathy for families and nursing support.
