I collaborated with Engineering management and/or other departments to gather project requirements and to identify, secure, and manage resources (internal or external) required to complete assignments and projects. I was responsible for developing relationships with internal/external customers and contractors to facilitate project completion. I served as a liaison between the Engineering group and the GIS Department at CenterPoint Energy.

I created and ran queries of GIS data to provide easier access and retrieval of CNP infrastructure information from GIS database to support statistical analysis and creation of accurate maps, plans, reports, and database maintenance. I collected information and compiled data to quantify electric facilities within specific geographical boundaries.

I interpreted construction designs and drawings of both existing and proposed electric distribution facilities as well as digitized projects or corrections based on available documentation. I performed GIS attribute and geometric network editing in a continuous effort to keep the GIS databases current as well as performed quality assurance checks of assets being digitized into or modified in GIS to ensure GIS production standards are maintained.

I logged and tracked correction and special project requests, maintained complete documentation from the issue origination to the final resolution and performed post-resolution follow-ups to ensure that all problems or issues had been adequately resolved.

I researched, quantified, organized, and reported asset and business data as well as recognize and reported data/process anomalies.
