FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

During my last quarter at Heald Institute of Technology in 1997, with a 4.0 GPA in Applied Electronics, I was offered a tech job with SVG in Silicon Valley, CA. My first FSE job with RTEC, 1998-2001, rewarded me with the opportunity to be the road warrior for the Western USA and Mexico with my counterpart covering the Eastern USA and Canada. RTEC closed their CA office after 9/11. I then landed a field position with Nielsen, 2003-2006. Able to complete a MCSE Certification, 2002-2003. Siemens contracted me on a year contract, 2006-2007 as an Install Tech at USPS. 2007-2008, worked at The Miami Herald Newspaper in the Electric Shop. Have remained in the medical equipment sector since joining McKesson Automation, Inc. in 2008 as an FSE until 2014 when MAI divested from McKesson Corporation. 2014 to 2015, conducted failure analysis of sleep study equipment as a QA Tech with CareFusion. Returned to the field with Swisslog, 2015-2016. BD assigned me the dedicated onsite Automation Service Engineer position, 2017-2023 in Houston, TX. In 2023, my family and I moved to Dallas. Innovation Associates, Inc. hired me as an FSE 2023-2025. Tenures at MAI and BD of 12 years, 2.5 years with iA, a year both at Swisslog and CareFusion, industrial experience gained with Siemens and The Miami Herald, and Semiconductor Fab experience with SVG and RTEC, certainly has prepared me to be able to contribute immediately to any company's FSE department. The skills developed and experience gained since 1997, the start of my career, in electro-mechanical, electrical, electronics, robotics, pneumatics, automation, and not of the least, customer service, were attained by the vital processes of time, training, mentorship received, and hands-on practice. I would love to join a company with excellent technical support that values providing customers best-in-class technical and parts support and, of course, best customer experience in the business, that documents well their product line with thorough and effective user and service manuals and provides relevant hands-on training, strong enough to equip their FSEs for success and does not have reservations to share with their service team members all that is necessary, not holding back so call “tribal knowledge.” With Mckesson, the best 24/7 tech support I had the pleasure of working with, I never left a customer with down equipment because tech support was always available, if I, myself didn't resolve the issue at hand. I am an intelligent, talented FSE who loves to service customers and enjoys making them happy by resolving any and all of their technical issues and by timely completing routine pre-scheduled PMs. Trained in Concur and Salesforce.
