Characterization and optimization of Indole-3 - acetic acid producing bacterial strain NHPC-5, Isolated from Nilgiri Hills(Tamilnadu)
The bacterial strain NHPC-5 was characterized morphologically and biochemically, confirming its ability to produce indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), and optimization studies showed enhanced production under favorable cultural conditions. This highlights its potential as a plant growth-promoting bacterium for sustainable agriculture.
