Summary

I am a Well Control Technician for Helmerich & Payne Inc. working on the rigs BOP and choke systems for just almost 8 years and out of their warehouse for over 3 years. I am NACE CP1 certified which I acquired while surveying gas pipelines where I oversaw the training of crews in pipeline location as well as doing daily tasks a crew supervisor would do like permits to work and working closely with inspectors from the companies we worked for.

•Inspect and work on BOP (well control) equipment as well as choke equipment

•Handle on call from rigs

•Work closely with Rig managers and some interaction with Company Men

•Receive and issue parts to drilling rigs as well as count and verify inventory

•Go through and verify data collected every day and document what was done in the field, sending in to

and other procedures needed for ECDA or indirect inspections

•CPR, First Aid and AED trained and was tasked with giving safety tailgate meetings and going over

ERP’s and making sure they were updated when we moved to new locations.
