GCGV MEG Project, Gregory, Texas USA – Served as Project Director for MEG Project w/assignment to Qingdao China overseeing fabrication of mega modules in excess of 8,000 MT, to be installed at site in Gregory, Texas.
Cameron LNG Project, Cameron Parish, Louisiana – Served as Project Director for a grass roots, 1.5 scfd LNG regasification terminal. Scope included two 160,000 cubic meter full containment LNG Tanks, Submerged Combustion Vaporizers, a dual berth marine unloading terminal and all associated utilities and administrative facilities.
Whiterose FPSO Project, St. Johns, Newfoundland – Served as interim Project Director during critical stages of engineering and design and facilitated the transition of the engineering activities to the fabrication yard.
Grassroots 700 MW simple cycle power plant for El Paso, Macae, Brazil – Fast track EPCM project consisting of 16 LM6000 packaged units, with inlet air chilling and demineralized water injection for NOx control. Project included full water treatment facilities including water clarification and demineralized water plant.
Grassroots 800 MW Combustion Turbine Combined Cycle Cogeneration facility in Baytown, Texas – Scope included auxiliaries engineering, procurement and all construction for Calpine Corporation. Project details included installation of three Siemens-Westinghouse 501F, 170MW gas turbines generators, one 200 MW Toshiba steam turbine, and full water treatment and associated facilities. Project logistics included Home Office Engineering and Procurement with transition to field support effort during construction.
Condensate Recovery Plant for Chevron, Malongo Terminal, Angola, Africa – Front-end Definition Package through development of an Invitation to Bid package including plus or minus 10% estimate generation. Scope included gas turbine driven compression trains (3), stabilization and depropanization columns, new control room, and various other tagged equipment items.
Chilled Water System upgrade to exiting 345 MW combined cycle cogeneration plant for Calpine in Clear Lake, Texas – Fast-track EPC revamp project including installation of 5 Absorption Chillers, 1 Mechanical Chiller, 1 6.5 mm gal Chilled Water Storage Tank, Chilled and Hot Water Loops, H2 Reciprocating Compressor and various system upgrades.
Grassroots 320 MTA Ethylene / 200 MTA Polyethylene / Marine facility in Kertih, Malaysia for Petronas – PMC Project Engineer with responsibility for all fixed and rotating equipment, including pressure vessels, towers, tanks, mechanical loading arms, exchangers, compressors, expanders, utility boilers, pumps, piping and interface coordination.
Grassroots 1,20 STPD Chlor-Alkali facility for Bayer in Baytown, Texas – Responsible for all aspects of engineering and management, development of schedule logic, change management and procurement activities including brine filtration, caustic evaporation, hydrogen and chlorine compression systems. 3D CAD modeling project utilizing PDS with intelligent P&ID’s, and high value center design in Mumbai.
Class A bid package development for Lyondell Chemical in Matagorda, Texas – Grassroots expansion of Train 4-Polyethylene Project.
Syngas feedstock conversion project for Quantum Chemical in LaPorte, Texas – Responsible for conversion of existing fuel oil based Pox syngas facility to natural gas feedstock, debottleneck and membrane syngas recovery installation.
520 MW cogeneration plant at Exxon Bayway Refinery in Linden, New Jersey, for Cogen Technologies – Represented owner as owner’s engineer, performing drawing and specification reviews and approval, federal and state emissions calculations and submissions and oversight of performance tests.
Methyl mercaptan plan debottlenecking project for Elf-Atochem in Beaumont, Texas – Responsible for specification reviews, requisitions and expediting.
Grassroots MTBE project in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for Coastal Corporation – Mechanical Engineer over ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 vessels and exchangers.
