I also got a chance to learn about Encryption, I had to make sure all computers and laptops are encrypted and backup the bitlocker recovery keys. I made sure that the server room at every Sassa office at the Mopani district had a register so that each person who enters the room must sign time-in and time-out, I also made sure the server room is always locked. At Alteram I also became part of the Cyber Security Awareness Training, I spoke to the IT manager about how Sassa could be at risk of an attack, because of Sassa users having the lack of knowledge regarding the cyber threats. I was chosen to be part of the training for Sassa Limpopo and North West. I created a presentation by looking at the users every day work how they handle their passwords, how they would leave their laptops on going to the kitchen or bathroom etc. I also told Sassa users about the company policies and why it is important to comply.
