Ausgrid, one of Australia’s largest energy companies. Architect and PMO lead for technical upgrade to improve SAP functionality for Coordinated customization and implementation of a complex SAP system, including handling systems migration, data center relocation, consolidation, and implementation of a global delivery center. Managed 120 personnel. Introduced a stronger foundation for future development and improvement that enabled Ausgrid to streamline functionality and drive later enhancements. Results: Delivered on time and on budget. SAP named this effort as the Upgrade of the year for 2011

Hydro One – Program Director: At the end of Hydro One's SAP IS-U upgrade, they created 232 exceptions that negatively impacted customers, revenue and system stability. Results: All exceptions were mitigated. Required understanding and documentation of all Exception Elements: Root cause, owner, customer impact level, inflow rates, backlog analysis/resolution, technical analysis, process documentation, Work Instructions, training materials, and reporting. Coordinated with outsourced Data Center, Networks, Systems, Contracts, Vendors, and Data. Result: Reduced the billing error rate from 1.2 mm to under 2,000 per year. Reduced the billing error backlog from 400,000 to under 3,000

Corporate Senior Director, ConAgra Foods, Inc.: Senior strategic leader and solutions architect for a $264 million supply chain management transformation project, centralizing 84 disparate brands and 10 operating groups into a single unified corporate structure with common business processes, centralized operations and tools, and a stable infrastructure. Supervised 192 personnel on an SAP project affecting 20,000 end users and 1,364 super users. These included Trade Promotion Management (TPM), B2B Customer Loyalty programs, and Sales and Operations Management (S&OM). Results: Project was completed without one change to the blueprint.

Chief Business Process Architect, Ford Motor Company (Ford Motor Customer Service): Defined and implemented an outsourcing process for a $2 billion remanufacturing business capable of serving 5,000 customers through a single system uniting 20 suppliers and 49 distribution processes with only 75 personnel. Results: ROI 180% in one year. Reduced Ford’s liability by $2 billion. Ford was able to patten the Supply Chain process and sold the process to SAP (for $32 million). The process is now included in the SAP standard offering.

PerkinElmer (PKI) – Divestiture – Cutover Manager – PKI divested itself of several products lines and support services. This effort consisted of creating 26 new legal entities, the division of the 92 facilities around the world, which covered operations in approximately 150 countries. This deployment was accomplished by logically splitting SAP ECC to allow all legal entities (consisting of both the seller and the buyer) to use the same hardware, and software, and databases while keeping each companies’ information separate from each entity.

Deployment: There were approximately 2200 tasks identified. Each stage was designed to support the overall process to building and deploying an on-prim environment. Result: Cutover completed as scheduled.

Tate and Lyle – Program Director - Led 17 concurrent projects to support T&L’s efforts to Divest itself of 70% of current operations. This divestiture covered business units from around the world. This effort focus covered Pre-Day-Zero to Day Zero. The aspects of this effort included: Split of the SAP environment to prep for Day 1; Non-Sap application support; Business unit reengineering; Financial Separation; HR Separation; IT operations

Delphi – Client Director, Senior Account Director, Senior Project Director (Sponsor/Reported to: Corporate CIO) (Automotive Parts) - Led the processes supporting Delphi’s efforts relating to emerging out of bankruptcy. This effort entailed the management of four divestitures (separating the systems, establishing the go forward position for the purchasing company, etc.) and one SAP rollout within Delphi. In addition, developed the process supporting Delphi’s planning operations to ensure that Delphi will be able to operate after they emerge from bankruptcy. All of SAP (all modules).

Solectron Corporation – Senior Project Director and Senior IT Strategy Architect (Post Acquisition of NCR’s Manufacturing Capabilities) (Consumer Package Group (CPG), High Tech Manufacturing)

Delivered an IT Strategy and development project which included a SWOT analysis for all functional areas within the company. The strategy project consisted of performing a baseline assessment of current IT operations (hardware, software, staffing, service level agreements, COE, and network), vision development, and gap analysis. Projects were identified and a high-level business case was developed for each initiative. Developed a “TechPac” project plan to allow this client to bring up a new plant in three months. Integration of Oracle and BAAN applications.

Anheuser-Busch Companies – Senior Account Director and Project Director (Sponsor/Reported to: Corporate CEO/COB) (Consumer Package Goods (CPG) Food & Beverage) - Directed a multi-vendor (Deloitte & Price Waterhouse/Cooper) project that assessed the viability of 43 information technology projects for a process industry manufacturer. This project was budgeted for $500 million. The project scope of this assessment included the Corporate Strategic Plan, IT Strategic Plan, Change Management Program (OCM), COE principals, and individual project implementation plans (SAP Applications).

CVS - Senior Account Director, Program Manager - Program comprised of 5 teams; CRM, ERP, MDM, Legacy Systems, and Technical Operations. Program was a full-life cycle implementation from Project Design through Go-Live. This effort was initially behind schedule and over budget. The Program was brought back on schedule and post completion and included: Rapid Prototyping Phase; Application tuning/Load testing; Integration development; Acceptance, Integration & UAT testing; Rollout Planning and execution; User training;” Go live” day logistics.

Basex Systems Inc. – Chief Operations Officer (COO) (Software) - Designed a start-up operation as the Chief Operations Officer. This effort included the development of the: Funding, Vision, Mission Statement, Marketing Approach, Operating Procedures, WEB Site Development, Product Pricing, Services Product Design, Partnership Development, Business Plan, Cash Flow Analysis, Staffing Methodology, and Training Approach. The company was designed to generate $350,000,000 in sales within the first 36 months of operations.

Red Pepper – Account Manager, Project Manager (Software) - Managed the program that developed the functional requirements for, and directed making changes to, the Red Pepper Finite Scheduling package (that was developed into the heart of the PeopleSoft’s Manufacturing system) that took the offering from the Beta version to release one.

Led the development of the Major Upgrade process for SUSI and Linux operating systems. This new process reduced 17 staff hours of effort, per machine, to perform a major upgrade. Results: This new process reduced the total required staff time by 164,697 hours per year for the corporation.
