I am an enthusiastic learner and educator. I have obtained a well-rounded, in-depth knowledge of many diverse subject areas. Besides having sufficient knowledge, I also have genuine care and desire to share this knowledge with others. I have loved and been around kids my entire life; teaching is NOT just an occupation to me… it is a passion, and dedication to a whole way of life. This philosophy is illustrated in how I interact with children, forming my own classroom as a center for growth and learning. I hope for my students to strive to become the best complete HUMAN BEINGS, they possibly can be --- thus, my instruction often includes life lessons which go beyond just base curriculum and core subject areas. I don’t believe a person chooses to be a teacher, teaching chooses the individual, and it must be a choice out of love and dedication. I am very proud of my profession and have the same noble feelings of pride and association in helping others, as I would suspect such members of professions such as doctors, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, etc. must also feel. Being an educator/teacher is part of my overall identity – a part only eclipsed by another title of mine of “Dad”. Summary of Qualifications
