Professional Experience

Order Picker

• Made sure that all orders were selected in the exact sequence as given, as per shipping date, and picked from the proper locations so as to keep up with first in/first out procedures

• Verified accuracy of orders picked, including product name, size, code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity.

• Followed picking instructions accurately according to pick sheets and RF scanners.

• Made sure that all orders for same day delivery were given absolute priority and completed before the others

• Placed the appropriate documentation with each order and ensured all cases/containers were packaged as per customer shipping requirements

• Used RF Scanner equipment to select product, scan, confirm picks and make changes where necessary as per supervisor’s instructions

• Removed goods from over stock to replenish picking bins

• Prepared customer orders by tagging, labeling, shrink-wrapping and moved from picking to shipping staging areas according to routing instructions.

• Provided customer satisfaction in an efficient and professional manner by carrying out their packaging and delivery requests

• Operated electric rider pallet truck (single/double walkie), reach truck, order picker or dock stocker with clamp to move product during entire shift.

• Performed other warehouse duties such as loading/off-loading trailers, and putting incoming goods and product into temporary storage areas or regular stock locations

• Replaced broken and unsafe pallets, cleaned and organized work areas.

• Performed all duties in a timely manner, and adhered to all company guidelines regarding safety and housekeeping

• Informed the supervisor of any malfunctioning with the forklift and took the machine to the repair shop
