Profile

I bring an extensive background in Information Technology with a deep foundation in software systems and their application to software development management. My focus is on Agile methodologies, where I currently serve as an Enterprise Agile Coach. I’ve also held roles as a Senior Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Auditor, and Business Analyst, contributing to successful Agile transformations and guiding organizations through meaningful change.

Experience

ENTERPRISE AGILE COACH DHS STATE OF MARYLAND MAY 2018 – PRESENT

·Serving MD Benefits program and contributing to the enterprise-wide Agile SAFe transformation /adoption and continuous improvement towards their cloud transformation of the DHS systems.

·Coaching activities involve working with all organizational levels (teams, stakeholders, and leadership) to help them use a Lean-Agile approach for culture change and value based delivery.

·Designed and gained leadership approval for re-launch of entire enterprise SAFe ART structure from 2 large structureless trains into 7 value stream based Trains, as part of a large system Solution Train.

·Defined the Agile governance for the enterprise in relation to the re-launched ART structure.

·Worked with Product Owners and Business Owners for advancing roadmap, portfolio definition, and collaboration during PI planning for quarterly objectives and their related features.

·Provided instruction and Agile training for orientation, Agile teams, roles, across the organization.

·Agile Subject Matter Expert supporting SSA Office of the Inspector General performance audits of the Debt Management Product. Leveraged SAFe SPC, Agile tools and agile coaching expertise to evaluate team structures, delivery metrics, scaling, portfolio management, and governance practices.

·Contributed to audit findings resulting in 12 formal recommendations in behalf of OIG.

·Scrum Master for multiple Data Analytics teams supporting the Enterprise Analytics Platform.
