Duties and Responsibilities at CCS, JCHX and TGMC include:
Perform the installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding and repair on high voltage electrical equipment including transformers, switchgears circuit breakers, substation and cables underground /overhead distribution lines
Conduct routine inspections, testing and diagnostic to ensure operational integrity of high voltage infrastructure.
Report to electrical brake down and emergences promptly to minimize down time.
Isolate, logout, and tag electrical system in accordance with company and legal safety procedure.
Interpret electrical schematic blueprint and technical drawing.

Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance on all electrical installations up to 11KV to avoid major breakdowns. This includes working on oil and vacuum circuit breakers, transformers, protection units (relays), substation battery chargers, and diesel generators.
Repair Works, Modifications, and Fault Rectification: Conduct repair works, modifications, and rectifications of faults on all electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Installation and Commissioning: Undertake the installation and commissioning of new equipment in line with technical standards, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
Initial Inspections and Troubleshooting: Perform initial inspections and conduct troubleshooting on all substation protection equipment and protection relays to identify and address issues promptly.
