Applied Artificial Intelligence Lab @ UHV, Student Researcher Jan 2024 - Mar 2025
• Preprocessed and validated large-scale facial expression datasets by handling missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity for analysis. Conducted exploratory data analysis and applied statistical methods to uncover behavioral and physiological patterns.
• Developed classification models and created presentation-ready visualizations and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Python) to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting data-driven decision making.
Projects
Simulating Low-Field MRI from High-Field Images Oct 2024 - Dec 2024
• Conducted a comparative study on two MRI synthesis methods—Deterministic Transformation and Stochastic IQT—to generate realistic low-field images from high-field FLAIR scans in the BraTS dataset.
• Utilized Python, MATLAB, and SPM12, and image analysis libraries (e.g., NumPy) for data preprocessing, segmentation, synthesis pipeline development, and quantitative evaluation (MSE, SSIM, GE, gEn).
• Gained hands-on experience in medical image simulation and evaluation, deepened knowledge of degradation modeling, and strengthened skills in experimental design and cross-modality analysis. Data Visualization for Software Engineering Mar 2025 - May 2025
• Explored treemap visualization techniques for analyzing hierarchical data in software engineering, focusing on slice-and-dice, squarified, and cardinality-based partitioning algorithms for HTML structure visualization.
• Developed interactive visualizations using D3.js, HTML, and CSS to aid in debugging and web optimization.
• Performing statistical analysis (MSE) to evaluate algorithm effectiveness and visualization precision. Global Aviation Network Analysis and Visualization Mar 2025 - May 2025
• Cleaned, integrated, and validated multi-source datasets (airports, routes, airlines) to ensure accuracy and consistency, enabling reliable analysis and reporting.
• Analyzed global air transportation data to uncover trends in airport connectivity, airline networks, and underserved regions, providing insights to support strategic route planning and new market development.
• Designed interactive maps, heatmaps, and infographics to visualize geographic and operational patterns, making findings accessible to non-technical person. Publications
