Duties:

• Ability to read and understand all relevant documentation in Extrusion process e.g. work tickets, labels, reports, pallet summaries etc.

• Ability to start and set an Extruder according to production set points.

• Technical knowledge of temperature settings, tension settings, setting of Treater Bars, Gusset Boards, freeze line heights and cooling to ensure smooth running of the Extruders.

• Maintain a constant extrusion process without breakdowns.

• Ability to identify different grades of raw materials and mix material according to specification on work tickets.

• Ensure consistent quality of all finished goods.

• Completing all computerised documentation.

• Attend to minor breakdowns of an extruder when necessary.

• Being able to plan for job changes, i.e. organising raw materials, cores and packing material.

• Fully experienced on Co-Extrusion and Mono-Extrusion.
