As a Federal Commodity Grader, I was tasked with traveling to production site facilities to provide quality assessment on the products that bared the USDA shield logo on the products. At the start of each day, I would begin by completing a detailed inspection of the machinery and processing areas to ensure that the facilities were meeting the Federal standards of cleanliness prior to starting the production process. It was my responsibility to communicate to upper management of the facilities about the areas that needed further cleaning.
