scholarship funds. I enjoyed the team I worked with and the students. The position offered challenges and rewards that exceeded my expectations. I saw upward of 12-15 students daily with financial aid and scholarship concerns.

My primary responsibilities were to collect past due accounts from delinquent or charged off debts in the United States. Some of my responsibilities included locating, and contacting consumers who had not been contacted in 12 months or longer. If the debt exceeded a specified amount, then there were legal challenges. Still, FDCPA rules and regulations were to be followed. Attention was always given to the each individual personal situation. So as to build a relationship not a sale. Each individual case was unique. The regard to the client's reputation, retention and return of that consumer in the future, were always considered a high priority.

As owner and sales producer, I managed and developed all aspects of the company. I developed funding sources and working relationships to finance the business. In addition, I developed working relationships with various life, annuity and mutual fund companies. I cultivated leads by engaging in focus groups that were streamlined for the senior market. The company was built from the ground up and because of this marketing approach and integrity selling our once small company blossomed quickly. My responsibilities included developing the sales producers, seeking funding for the business, payroll, leads, compliance and motivation. By late August 2011, we had developed a business to with over 500 clients and 6.3 million in managed funds (fixed and variable products).
