Project Description:
I developed and set up a citizen-facing portal using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Public Sector Solutions (PSS) to make it easier for people to access government services. Using PSS features, the portal allowed applicants to apply online for programs like food assistance (SNAP), cash support (TANF), and healthcare (Medicaid). They could upload required documents, such as proof of income or ID, directly through the portal. Applicants were also able to log in and track the status of their applications in real time. The portal included a secure messaging system so they could communicate with their assigned caseworkers and get updates or ask questions. This solution improved the experience for citizens and made case management more efficient for DHS staff.
Responsibilities:
Designed and developed custom Salesforce solutions for intake and case processing using Public Sector Case Management.
Built OmniStudio components (Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, OmniScripts) to handle complex eligibility workflows and integrations with external state systems.
Developed custom Apex classes, triggers, and LWC components for automation and UI enhancements in citizen and worker portals.
