EBN (Extended Bridge Next) is a Firmware that runs on ROM oriented Machines called MFP

(Multi-Function Peripheral). This firmware could be able to drive multiple job types. A typical MFP may function as a combination of all things such as E-mailer, fax, Photocopier, Printer, Scanner and may come with bundled software for organizing photos and other uses of interest to a home user. MFP internal software, by comparison, has the advantage of not requiring anything outside of the MFP.
