Utilized system programs to control workloads and resolve complex cases where facts are disputed or records are lost. Identifying the mental capacity of a claimant, gaining their trust and acceptance I developed and authorized a Representative Payee to assist with benefits. Communicated orally and in writing information requested by the general public, government agencies and Congressional inquiries; investigated and analyzed information to resolve outstanding issue documenting cases a needed. Working with upper-level management I have served as a resource person, encouraged and mentored new trainees. Evaluating for completeness and correcting deficiencies before cases are forwarded to the next level. I identified trends, training needs and recommended appropriate actions and techniques.
While working with little to no supervision I prioritized my workloads and used my judgement to make informed decisions based on policy, procedures and regulations. Constantly reviewing Policy to keep updated on revised regulations, and procedural improvements to increase job performance.
