Field Work Processor Cook County Assessor's Office, Chicago, IL For the past 13 years I helped process building permits filed within Cook County. My job was to ascertain if a permit needed to go the field department for possible class change, characteristic updating or reassessment due to value of permit due to remodel/renovation. I also used mapping to verify if the address matched the P.I.N. (property identification number) or further analyzing of property due to job description. I also checked the physical building permits that possibly would need to go to the field to make sure it was received electronically and if it was missing I would create one to go the field department.
